Kanye and jayz hmmmm what an interesting combination. I actually like the song and although the video is very simplistic, it interesting to me. The dismantling of the $400,000 maybach is a little absurd but i feel as though it means more than just what was captured on the camera. Jay and Kanye sort of send the message of redesigning the American dream and turning it into your own ideal dream. The maybach represents an ideal object of the american dream and them dismantling it shows that its just materialistic. Then again they could just be flauting the fact they have the money to do so and could buy a million maybachs with women in them. This collaboration album should be an interesting one. Cant wait until the tour stops in Austin :-) check out otis

Can Chris Brown really rap?

R?&B artist Chris Brown recnetly released a rap mix tape nameds  , "Boy in Detention". He decided to take a break from the usually pop/r&b sounds that he produces and changed to a all rap mix tape. Yes, Chris brown thinks he can rap. While i don't totally hate it, some of the songs can get annoying. The CD contains 21 "enlightening" songs, about his money, drugs and alcohol, women, cars, u know the usual materialistic stuff. What does it all mean anyway? The beats are pretty cool though but someone has to be totally ghost writing for him. His voice is not even one that is made for rapping, that is why i don't like it as much. take a listen and tell me what u think...

All hail queen NICKI MINAJ !!! The best female rapper we have seen in about 7 + years. Her style is so eccentric and unique that no one and define her. I love the way she reinvents herself giving her fans something to look forward to. Born Onika Minaj, she has always been a very exciting character. The trinadadian beauty that comes out of New York writes her own music, sings, raps, and acts. She has developed into a influential young woman that is hip hops leading lady. She exudes the idea of girl power and is a very colorful individual with her multiple personalities. For example roman ( a gay boy), his mother Martha (both of whom are british, she does a very good British accent by the way!!), rosa, barbie, just to name a few lol. More importantly her rhyming skills are extraordinary!! She has a skill so unique that she can even rhyme with the best of the fellas in hip hop, hence Monster by kanye west featuring rick ross, jayz, and nicki herself. She has also made cross over hits into pop music. It is clear that Nicki is not going anywhere for a while, she just went on a tour with Britney spears!!! Check out her hit Super bass!!
